Environmental Protection
… an Important Topic for Us.
We are aware of our responsibility. For this reason, our entire heat requirement at our Ense site, including our process heat, is generated from renewable sources.
"Our goal is: CO2 neutral"
Our production facility in Ense has been connected to a neighboring biogas plant since May 2009. All process heat required for the galvanic production processes is covered by this plant.
Commissioned in mid-2007, the plant of the operating company Enser Biogas GmbH & Co. KG produces its power from renewable raw materials - primarily corn silage.
The integrated heat concept of the Enser biogas plant supplies the nearby industrial area with thermal energy.
PFT-free processes
At our two production sites in Ense and Arnsberg, all processes are realized with PFT-free baths.

Heat requirement is generated 100% regeneratively.
- The biogas plant has an electrical output of 1,370 kW with a total efficiency of 92%.
- The thermal output is 100% obtained from the biogas plant.
photovoltaic system with 276 kWp on the entire roof system
Our electricity requirements are already partially covered by PV systems.
- In the summer months, up to 50 % of our electricity is covered by our own PV system.
- The rest comes from the public grid.
